Reading Advanced Machining is seeking 1st shift Finishing and Assembly Operators to setup and operate pneumatic, electric, or hand tools to provide comestically acceptable and quality products to our customers.
The Finishing and Assembly Operator will provide visual inspection, assembly, deburring, sandblasting, polishing, washing, packing, tumbling, and other various finishing applications.
A qualified Finishing and Assembly Operator candidates will have:
- Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer etc.)
- Attention to detail
- Understanding of production procedures
- Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear)
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus

This role is essential to our daily operations, combining responsibilities in shipping and warehouse support with safe and timely product deliveries.
Responsibilities of the Shipping/Warehouse Associate with Part-Time Delivery Driver Duties include:
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products to designated locations.
- Assist with loading and unloading of materials and products in the warehouse.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of delivery routes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the vehicles and warehouse.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic regulations.
- Prepare and process shipments efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Assist with inventory management and stock organization.
- Drive company vehicles to ensure prompt and secure delivery of products.
- Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and uphold operational standards.
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products to designated locations.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic regulations.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in warehouse operations and/or shipping preferred.
- 3 years previous experience in a similar driving/warehouse role is preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items as needed.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
