RPF traces its origins back to 1950 as a basement operation providing plastic parts to the Reading textile industry. Later it became involved in fabrications for Western Electric Reading Works which was involved in early semiconductor development and production. In 1978 , was incorporated as Polyfab Corp T/A Reading Plastic Fabricators.
